A group of determined people started TPO in response to initiate the Sustainable development & Social change in the society during 1996.

Taraqee Passand Organization (TPO) emerged as a progressive, non-profit, humanitarian development organization based at Multan–Pakistan. TPO was established in August 1996 & was registered in August 2003 under the Societies Registration Act (XXI of 1860). We envisioned bringing about change through a group of young socially active human rights defenders. This action was to support and strengthen the human rights culture through advocacy initiatives and educational programs focusing on rights based approaches.
TPO strongly believes on the basic principles of human rights, equality, human dignity, respect, gender development & non-discrimination. Our struggle revolves around mobilizing, organizing, training and advocating to communities for participatory development with focus on inclusion of all stakeholders.
